Every year in Poland, about 9 million tons of food products end up in the trash can.
Challenge

The mission of Food Banks is to save food from wasting and give it to those in need. Every day, employees and volunteers of the Banks collect unsold, good-quality products from supermarkets, which then go to aid organizations.
Insight

In 2019, thanks to constant cooperation with retail chains, Food Banks managed to save 10,000 tons of food products, including 1,994.7 tons from the Biedronka chain of stores.
Solution

20 grosz from the sale of each Dobra Torba goes to Food Banks. 1 PLN collected thanks to the Dobra Torba is 8 kg of saved food, from which up to 16 meals can be prepared. Let us save food from wasting and give it to the most needy.
