Jemmy

Visual identity for the first multibrand app uniting diet catering services.

  • Background

The diet box and catering sector is constantly expanding. The choice of cuisines, ingredients, and diet types is wide and adapts to current food trends. Jemmy is a new, innovative app that allows users to search, plan, and order meals. As the first on the Polish market, it lets customers create their own menus by selecting dishes from various brands and caterers, without being tied to a single provider.
  • Challenge

Our task was to develop communication that would present this new service to customers in an appealing and understandable way, while also explaining the features, possibilities, and benefits offered by the Jemmy app.
  • Insight

Brand communication in this sector often relies on similar offers, benefits, and visual schemes, making many brands lose their distinctiveness. Our goal was to create an original and unique visual language for the brand, allowing it to stand out in the highly competitive diet box and catering market.
  • Solution

When designing Jemmy’s identity, we decided to move away from muted color schemes and the calm, "well-being" communication typical of the competition. We aimed to create a cheerful and vibrant identity that reflects the best aspects of food — the atmosphere of shared meals filled with conversation and laughter. We wanted food to be associated with joy and good humor.
Key elements of the system include motion, animation, and a contrasting color palette. These make the brand distinctive, dynamic, and responsive, while also enhancing its visibility. The identity elements were designed to be easily implemented across all communication channels, both online and offline. Used in the app, on the website, and outdoor media, they successfully built strong brand visibility.
The logo concept was further developed into our brand hero. Like the logo itself, the brand hero is created with lines — a key element of the identity. This approach offers numerous opportunities for building a cohesive system and utilizing it in real-time marketing. During the project, we were also responsible for creating digital advertising campaigns and managing the brand’s social media channels.
